Robin, what a wonderful review Robert Bush of The Reader gave you and the band for the November 6, Dizzy's performance. Of course, I'm not surprised, just so happy for you! I brought three "virgin" guests. One is an old jazz singer herself (and flutist) from a family of jazz musicians, and, frankly, she can be hard to impress. Well, I guesss I get points with her now for my own discriminating taste in confidantly recommending that she HAD to come hear you! She couldn't stop her accolades. The four of us had a grand time "out on the town" thanks to you and the band. I've never been disappointed by one of your performances, but this one, surely, was a taste of heaven. Bravo!

Robin, we caught your trio last nite at Ki's. Since we were from Tucson and weren't familiar with you or your music our expectations were modest. You certainly surprised us in a most positive way. You and your expert band totally captured the magic of Joni's music which is something I've not heard anywhere else ever! (OK maybe Herbie and Luciana Souza). There are "singers" and there are musicians who happen to be vocalists and you are definitely in the latter catagory. I especially like the restraint that your excellent guitarist and pianist employed. Although they were playing their butts off I always felt that they were playing well within themselves. That is something that very few musicians master. Bravo to all of you!

Thursday night at the Merc in Temecula - ROBIN that was the best show we have seen at the Merc, it may even be the best show we have ever seen you do ! If you haven't seen Robin & Mutts of the Planet is has to be on your to do list. Robins vocals are incredible and the whole band mesh together so well it is truly amazing. This is the "Joni" tribute band to hear no one can come close !

Robin & Dave: Me and my brother (Joe) went to The Gallery coffee shop in Altadena last night (Mar. 21) and enjoyed your most FUN and intimate concert, I felt like we were on Wonderland St in Laurel Canyon, seriously! Mama Cass & Carole King were the only ones missing :). Anyway, thank you so much for a memorable evening...I look forward to hearing more Joni songs with you and Dave....I forgot to request Little Green (song she wrote when she gave up her baby)...love that song! Even though I've seen Robin and Dave several times, I never tire of their renditions of Joni Mitchell's (among others) songbook. I introduced my mother and her friend Judy to this delightful musical experience yesterday afternoon and now they are hooked as well. I expect many newcomers will seek out future performances to savor based on word of mouth praise for the talented vocal stylings of Robin and back-up singer/superb guitar player husband Dave. Based on the complexity of these musical numbers, these artists demonstrate a high level of talent that is worthy of anyone's time and travel. I've also attended events featuring the entire band and the other members aren't too shabby to put it mildly as well. Keep those engagements coming!

Robin, Dave and the rest of Mutts of the Planet: What a genuine treat it was to hear you play at Dizzy's last night. My wife and I have been Joni fans for decades. I saw her live on the Wild Things Run Fast tour, (quite some time ago...). The complexity of Joni's songs, her amazing vocals and the outstanding musicians that she worked with combine to make your task a daunting one. But all of you did a really terrific job. It was GREAT! You have some new fans, and we WILL bring friends.

Just wanted to drop you a (belated) line to say thanks so much for helping with the equipment - the family were thrilled with the results, and we really enjoyed playing again with Mike. Great system, makes me want to upgrade our old dinosaur!

We were visiting Carmel and had dinner at Clint Eastwood's Mission Ranch on 9/12/07. The dinner was great, the atmosphere was awesome - and you were GREAT!!!!!! Thanks for singing at the fun piano bar - what a great way to top off our 40th anniversary celebration!!!!!! Enjoyed the dual entertainment so very much. Thank you so much for the gift of an incredible concert Saturday night. For you to have made a project of learning and performing the music of Joni Mitchell IS a gift. I never have and likely never will see Joni live, but I feel now as if I have. While utterly true to the complex, wonderful music she writes, arranges, and performs, you were also yourself. WOW, WOW, and WOW again! What a moving and exhilarating performance last night at the Hilltop Center! Such incredible talent on that stage! How come you weren't at the Temecula Jazz Festival last week? Perfect venue for you guys. Robin, you must be emotionally and physically spent for days after a night of singing every tune through two long sets. Your voice is amazingly beautiful. Dave, you are an awesome musician. As was the rest of the band and the back up singers.

We saw you last night at the Hilltop Center doing Joni Mitchell's songs. What a great concert!! This is , by far, one of the best concerts we have seen!!! The performance was magnifico!!! The selection of songs, the order in which they were presented, the quality of the performance and the choice of doing Joni Mitchell's work was all inspired!!!

We have seen you a couple of times in the past few years in Fallbrook and we have a CD of yours. You are a real treasure or, should I say, treasures!!! We will definitely keep your web page book marked and willkeep an eye out for future preformances. You joked abaout playing in stadiums... you should be playing there... or at least at places like Humphery's. We are also looking forward to a "Robin Sings Joni" CD!!!!

Our good friends, Graham and Caroline Ashford invited us to your concert. We invited our friends, Jon and Marise Williams. I have wanted to hear you perform for a long time, but, I am glad I waited for this particular event in Encinitas. Robin's vocals were dead on. I thought Joni was actually in the room! Dave's guitar playing was superb, just as Graham had told me. Barnaby's keyboard solos were over the top! I'd attend another gathering just to hear Both Sides Now and Woodstock again.I am looking forward to hearing you play again, and, I'll invite more friends to attend! Question: I see you are playing at the Mission Theatre, on June 30, which is great. I know you both to be supporters of downtown Fallbrook, but, have you considered playing at the Bob Burton Center at the Fallbrook High School? It seats 535, and the acoustics are to die for! LOVE the new website! Great to hear the Songs of Joni Mitchell set has been going over so well - wish I could see it but my travels have been taking me over to the UK/Europe in recent years (my wife and I saw Robin perform at a restaurant in San Diego back in the ancient mists of time... think it might have been 2001. ;-) Still enjoying It's About Time, and just wish there more to buy, damn the "powers that be" anyway!
