I can't stop listening to your new CD! It's incredible. Can't quit humming Night Ride Home -- what a hook. The instrumental of Both Sides Now is so beautifully arranged - I think I'm in love with that sax player!!!!!

Robin, Dave and the rest of Mutts of the Planet: What a genuine treat it was to hear you play at Dizzy's last night. My wife and I have been Joni fans for decades. I saw her live on the Wild Things Run Fast tour, (quite some time ago...). The complexity of Joni's songs, her amazing vocals and the outstanding musicians that she worked with combine to make your task a daunting one. But all of you did a really terrific job. It was GREAT! You have some new fans, and we WILL bring friends.

Joni has always been my favorite. My secret love/lover.... To ever think that someone could do her ANY justice in song and heart would have been unimaginable: "IMPOSSIBLE"! That was yesterday! Your absolutely superb performance blew me away! Thank you ever so much for the opportunity to be there--right there! Can I be a 'roadie'? Maybe the light guy? I'm a fast learner... and in exchange only for a small space in the back to rock out....

YESTERDAY'S CONCERT (march 15th). Every time we see you guys the performance level goes through the roof. That was truly something special, what a really wonderful group of great musicians. Joni needs to be at one of these shows , I think she would be proud of how good you make her music sound.... Love to you all , cannot wait until the next time.

I recently heard Robin & Dave's singing and playing for the first time, on the recordings from the recent JoniFest at Holycombe, England. AMAZING vocals and guitar work! I'd love to catch a live show, if New York is on an upcoming tour. I'll be watching the calendar for possibilities.

Dear Robin & Dave
We're the folks who came over from Australia in July and borrowed your PA via Mike Rybak to play at a family wedding.
Just wanted to drop you a (belated) line to say thanks so much for helping with the equipment - the family were thrilled with the results, and we really enjoyed playing again with Mike. Great system, makes me want to upgrade our old dinosaur!

Listened to the Joni Band on your site - I'm a big Mitchell fan and you really do the songs justice, while at the same time putting your own stamp on them. Wonderful! Hope it's a big success for you. And if you're ever in Australia, do look us up!
Cheers & Beers
Liz

Robin,
We were visiting Carmel and had dinner at Clint Eastwood's Mission Ranch on 9/12/07. The dinner was great, the atmosphere was awesome - and you were GREAT!!!!!! Thanks for singing at the fun piano bar - what a great way to top off our 40th anniversary celebration!!!!!! Enjoyed the dual entertainment so very much. We couldn't believe there wasn't a $50 cover charge!!!!! Could tell that you truly loved your music!!!!!!!! As did we!!!! THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

9-12-07 Robin sang at The Mission Ranch, Carmel, California. Cute hotel, restorante but very fun bar with piano bar
anyone can sing there and they do! They didn't however expect someone with the tallent and sex apeal that

Robin has to sing. People and the piano player would not let her stop. It was so fun and yes we closed the bar because no one would let Robin stop singing!!! That's "My Kissen cousin" Love, Cherie

It was, as usual, an absolute delight performing with you guys the other night in Fallbrook. I am proud to be part of a project with such a high level of musicianship, and I am honored to be asked to contribute. Thanks for deepening my appreciation of Joni's music - it's a joy playing such superb compositions. I look forward to our future performances!

Deepest Regards,

Thank you so much for the gift of an incredible concert Saturday night. For you to have made a project of learning and performing the music of Joni Mitchell IS a gift. I never have and likely never will see Joni live, but I feel now as if I have. While utterly true to the complex, wonderful music she writes, arranges, and performs, you were also yourself. It was great! Fantastic! Superlative! Help me out here, what's another word for it???? We took another couple along and you have four new fans. We will be coming to see you as often as possible. Any chance you will do another night of Joni?

Robin and Dave,
WOW, WOW, and WOW again! What a moving and exhilarating performance last night at the Hilltop Center! Such incredible talent on that stage! How come you weren't at the Temecula Jazz Festival last week? Perfect venue for you guys. Robin, you must be emotionally and physically spent for days after a night of singing every tune through two long sets. Your voice is amazingly beautiful. Dave, you are an awesome musician. As was the rest of the band and the back up singers.
Thank you for a wonderful evening, one that will remain a highlight of my summer!

We saw you last night at the Hilltop Center doing Joni Mitchell's songs. What a great concert!! This is , by far, one of the best concerts we have seen!!! The performance was magnifico!!! The selection of songs, the order in which they were presented, the quality of the performance and the choice of doing Joni Mitchell's work was all inspired!!!

We have seen you a couple of times in the past few years in Fallbrook and we have a CD of yours. You are a real treasure or, should I say, treasures!!! We will definitely keep your web page book marked and willkeep an eye out for future preformances. You joked abaout playing in stadiums... you should be playing there... or at least at places like Humphery's. We are also looking forward to a "Robin Sings Joni" CD!!!!

Great show tonight at Milano's. I really enjoyed the collaboration between the two of you and Joe Rathburn. The guitar work could have gone on for hours! My foot is still tapping as I "hear" Robin's vocals in my mind. I look forward to hearing you again in the future.

We really enjoyed your singing in Morro Bay tonight! Too bad the crowd was noisy. Look forward to you coming up to see your cousin again and singing. Would love to hear the Joni Mitchell - sounds great on iTunes! If I can come up with anyone with a house big enough ....

Gotta love that about Ki's--some fabulous talent playing to a bunch of people ignoring you and eating dinner! There is no justice. Sorry I was one of them. I mean, one of the people eating dinner. I tried to listen as much as I could. Looking forward to seeing a whole show sometime!

Hi Robin,

WOW!! What an incredible evening you gave all of us Saturday. It was just pure magic and one of the most enjoyable times I've had in years. The venue was spectacular, and when the music started I was almost in a trance. We first heard you at Seaside Church in April...come back soon! We look forward to your concert at Dizzy's in November.

The best to you and Dave...you guys are amazing!

Our good friends, Graham and Caroline Ashford invited us to your concert. We invited our friends, Jon and Marise Williams. I have wanted to hear you perform for a long time, but, I am glad I waited for this particular event in Encinitas. Robin's vocals were dead on. I thought Joni was actually in the room! Dave's guitar playing was superb, just as Graham had told me. Barnaby's keyboard solos were over the top! I'd attend another gathering just to hear Both Sides Now and Woodstock again.I am looking forward to hearing you play again, and, I'll invite more friends to attend! Question: I see you are playing at the Mission Theatre, on June 30, which is great. I know you both to be supporters of downtown Fallbrook, but, have you considered playing at the Bob Burton Center at the Fallbrook High School? It seats 535, and the acoustics are to die for! Sincerely, Bob Freaney

Robin and Dave,
LOVE the new website! Great to hear the Songs of Joni Mitchell set has been going over so well - wish I could see it but my travels have been taking me over to the UK/Europe in recent years (my wife and I saw Robin perform at a restaurant in San Diego back in the ancient mists of time... think it might have been 2001. ;-) Still enjoying It's About Time, and just wish there more to buy, damn the "powers that be" anyway!

I really enjoyed the concert at Monkey Love last week. The new web site is very well done. Did you record yourself playing in Belize? Not sure if I can make the house concert but I am pretty sure my wife will be in town for the show at the Mission so should you see you there for sure. It's great that you are playing where I can catch you again.
